A Day No Pigs Would Die
After reading “A Day No Pigs Would Die”, I was impressed of how the author was slowly giving you clues to the end of the story and why the story is called “A Day No Pigs Would Die”. Like when the dad said he had an infection, and when they were talking while they were watching the sunset. My reaction to the story was, wow I did not know that a person can become so mature and so responsible in so little time. Most kids if they found out there dad died they would cry.

The Clearing and A Secret for Two Introductions
Just think a new person builds a new house near your home. In this person yard you have a fort , where you play kick ball with your friend, or there is something special over there. You think the neighbor will be a nice and kind person, but when you take one step on to his lawn he comes out of the house and yells at you and says “get off my lawn”. You get scared and run back to your house like your life depended on it. In this paper you will learn that neighbors can be very helpful.
Just think you work at a job you like for your entire life, with your favorite animal. You’re been working at the job for about 30 years and nothing strange has happen, but one day you come to work and you find out that the animal you worked with at your job is dead, the animal that you were best friends with, have teach the animal cool teaches to, and have told all your secrets to. In this story you will find out what the main character did in this story.
Just think you work at a job you like for your entire life, with your favorite animal. You’re been working at the job for about 30 years and nothing strange has happen, but one day you come to work and you find out that the animal you worked with at your job is dead, the animal that you were best friends with, have teach the animal cool teaches to, and have told all your secrets to. In this story you will find out what the main character did in this story.
The Circuit
Just imagine you work every day of your life just to stay alive it is like being on a horrible rollercoaster over and over again. Your job is to pick the crops that are in season and when the season ends you move to a new farm. In one day you make 15 dollars to feed 6 people in your family, spend money to make one of your kids go to school, and to pay for your home and you never get any days off. If you would compare your life to theirs, you would appreciate how much your life is better than back then.
In the story “The Circuit” the main character whose name was never said has to move again to a new farm. His family which speaks a different language moves from place to place to find a job to pick the crops and to except what any other job to afar, or to pick whatever is in season at the farm. When that crop or season is over, the family of six moves to a new farm, because they make their money off of the plants they pick. Every time they have to leave, he hates to go, but he knows that he has to leave just to make enough money to stay alive. Today we have other jobs instead of working in farms all day. After picking about a whole season, the second oldest boy finally started to go to school. The boy is the only one in his family that can go to school, because that is all his parents can afford. Today kids have to go to school and if your family or you can’t afford it, the government will usually pay for the child to go to school to get an education. He went to school every day and at lunch time he would stay with the teacher and learn how to speak better English. In current times you can go to a school that teaches you how to speak English or another language better. One day at lunch time the teacher ask if he had ever listened to music? He said “yes” but not too much. After that the teacher asked if he had ever played an instrument. And he said “no”, so the teacher started to teach him how to play the trumpet. In the present we have music classes to how to play an instrument. He was so happy that his teacher was teaching him music, and now he wanted to tell his parents very badly, but when he came home everything was all packed up and ready to be sent to a new place to start their lives all over again.
Look at how much better life is today. With some of the jobs today like computer jobs you can make a living without do any much physical work, but there are jobs out there you have to do some physical like builders. Today we have ways to make are life’s easy like computers and better technology, but with power comes more responsibly.

All Summer in a Day
Imagine yourself different than the people around, but also similar. Like being a flower, but with a lot brighter colors than the flowers around you, or being the first leaf to change colors and fall off the tree. Well in the short story “All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury, the main character of the story was born on Earth and brought to Venus, while all the other children in class were born on Venus. Here you will that you might thick you’re different when you are really the same.
In the story the “All Summer in a Day” a girl named Margot that once lived on earth and was brought to Venus when she was just a child, while the other kids in her class were born on Venus. On Venus it never stops raining, except every 7 years it stops raining and the sun comes out for one hour. Today was the day they thought the sun would come out, Margot was so happy to hear that the beautiful sun would come out today. Margot say she remember the sun when she was a child, but all of the other children in her class think that she has never seen the sun and she is lying. People have been treating other people different all over time to religion to skin color and even today people are still being treated differently. They also think that the sun is not going to come out. Some of the kids in the class might be jealous because they have never seen the sun or can’t remember how the sun looks. In the class there is a boy named William, he hated Margot and how she all was talks about the sun and how bright and beautiful it is, so as soon as the teacher left he told all the kids to lock her in the closet. Right after the kids locked Margot into the closet it went silent, the rain had stopped! The kids went running out side without even remembering what they just did. They went running around like mad man like it was the happiest day of their life. Some people would if this was the first time ever seeing the sun. After about an hour running around the sun started to hide be hide the dark Clouds and then it started to rain. The children ran inside, just to remember they had left Margot in the lock. Some people would feel ashamed, treating someone different, because you’re jealous of them.

The Stolen Day
Some individuals could relate to the events of the main character found in the story the Stolen Day. “Stolen Day” is story about a young boy that lies. Every person lies at least once in their life, to deceive, trick a person or to protect the person from pain or hurt.
“Stolen Day” is a story about a boy that trick to his teacher to get out of school. After getting out of school he went home and got his fishing pole, and then the boy went to the fishing pond. In this case the teacher would feel bad if the disease was real. Although the teachers don’t know, but if they did they would be very disappointed in him. Then after having his fishing pole in water for about two or three minutes he got a bite. He pulled and pulled till he got the fish on the shore. On the fishing line there was a huge carp almost the size of him on the line. When he brought the huge carp home his dad said that he had talked to his teacher today and he knew that he was in big trouble. He lied to his teacher to go fishing; he could of gone fishing after school at night that’s when the fish really bite. He should get in trouble he lied to his parents.
This is a story to teach people lying can hunt you but also other people. Lying is never a good thing to do. You should never lie to your friends and family, you always should say the truth. Whatever goes around comes around, so some people might lie to you.
